Bridgewater, NJ – The New Jersey Rockets, proud members of the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), have signed defensemen Bronson McLeod and Nick McKeeby to tenders, securing them for the 2017-2018 season and rounding out the remaining tenders for the Rockets.

A tender is a contract a team offers a prospect to reserve his rights for the upcoming season. When a player signs a tender, the player’s rights belong to that team within the NCDC, whereas that player cannot be recruited or drafted by any other member club.

McLeod (6-3/181) is a left shot defensemen from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Through 25 games this season with Benilde-St. Margaret’s School has collected 3 goals and 15 assists. “McLeod is a big left shot defensemen with a high hockey IQ,” said Rockets Head Coach Sean Cromarty. “He has edge to his game and will bring a physical element to our club.”

McKeeby (5-10/172) is a right shot defensemen from Brighton, Michigan. “McKeeby is a product of Honeybaked Hockey Club and is an excellent two way defender,” said Cromarty. “He has good gap control and is difficult to play against.”

The Rockets will play their first season in the inaugural year of the newly created National Collegiate Development Conference starting fall 2017. For more information about the Rockets contact Natalie at natalie@rocketssportsgroup.com.
